Forest Lake

Forest Lake Queensland 4078 is an established family suburb that comprises a network of individual leafy villages with parks, playgrounds, footpaths and cycle ways. The suburb was established in the 1990s and has a scenic lake at the centre surrounded by picnic areas and 3.5kms of path for locals to exercise. Forest Lake has 3 primary schools, 2 high schools and numerous sporting facilities and teams to service it’s population of approximately 23,000. Forest Lake and Forest Fair Shopping Centres are also located in the heart of the suburb.

Real estate in Forest Lake mostly comprises 3-5 bedroom brick houses with family size backyards. The average time on the market is approximately 80 days. Median prices are $378k for 3 bedrooms, $482k for 4 bedrooms and $595k for 5 bedrooms. Houses rent for an average of $400 per week.

Doolandella

Doolandella QLD 4077 is an up and coming suburb with beautiful city views rated 8.5/10 on Homely for its population of nearly 5000. Doolandella is quiet, clean, green, modern and connected with high speed internet and available transport with easy road access in multiple directions to reach Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and the Gold Coast. The new 7-Eleven and McDonald’s complex is convenient as you head out for a trip.

Doolandella is a growing suburb with property developments of new houses, townhouses and off-the-plan sales. A 4 bedroom house is typically on the market for 89 days selling for a median price of $483k and renting for an average of $430 per week. Units sell for a median price of $264k and rent for an average of $350 per week.

Heathwood

Heathwood Queensland 4110 is a sheltered, small, quiet, leafy suburb bordering Forest Lake for a population of around 3000 mostly from younger families. Tucked between Logan motorway and Pallara State School it is an idyllic family community with a fantastic park, sporting field and playground to take the kids.

Healthwood’s established houses are on the market for an average of 138 days and comprise mainly 4 bedroom houses for a median price of $547k or 5 bedroom houses for a median price of $653k. Houses rent for an average of $460 per week.

Pallara

Pallara Queensland 4110 boasts many new developments with state of the art facilities, parks and brand new homes picked from the display homes at the Stockland Pallara Display Village. Families live between Pallara State School at one end and Pallara Child Care Centre at the other. Developments are surrounded by bush land and locals enjoy the new landscaping, playgrounds, BBQ facilities, dog park, walking and cycle paths.

Pallara is growing and rapidly changing with more services coming to meet the needs of this growing population. New houses are mostly 4 or 5 bedroom selling for a median price of $545k and $653k respectively and renting for an average of $460 per week for a 4 bedroom residence.
